Leon Springs Animal Hospital is located at 24125 Boerne Stage Road, in the heart of Leon Springs right behind the HEB shopping center. Our office hours are 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday. We can be reached at (210) 698-1800 and by fax at (210) 698-1767.
After business hours, we refer emergencies and critical care to I-10 Pet Emergency, located at W. I-10 and Huebner Rd. Visit their website at http://www.i10petemergency.com/ , or they can be reached at (210) 691-0900.

Referral Rewards
The best compliment you can give us it to refer your friends and family to our veterinary team. We want to thank you for your referrals in a tangible way. If you are a current client and you refer a new client to our clinic, and the new client tells us you referred them to us, we will credit your account 10% of whatever their first paid invoice is to show our thanks to you. The credit can be used towards your future veterinary, boarding, or grooming expenses in our hospital. We know everyone would like a discount on their veterinary care, and this is the most fair and consistent way for us to decide who to give one to, and we hope you will agree. The Referral Rewards Program is meant to be a win/win for everyone who chooses to participate and we thank you in advance for referring your friends and family.

Lost and Found Pets
If you have lost or found a pet, here are some steps and resources to help reunite them or you with a missing companion.
We recommend that all strays be taken to either the Humane Society on Fredericksburg Rd or the Animal Defense League on Nacogdoches. We do not recommend animal control unless you have a vicious animal.
If you have lost a loved pet, here are some steps about what you can do to retrieve your pets:
-Call Man and Beast (a lost/ found pet service) immediately at
210-590-73-87
-The San Antonio Express News paper will run a free listing for lost pets in the Classified section for 4 days at 210-250-2345
-Put up signs in your neighborhood immediately
-Call all area vets and put signs up at their hospitals, including emergency clinics
-If your pet is wearing our Rabies tag, we will accept our own patients into our clinic if whoever has found them cannot keep them until you are contacted. Fees will apply, but at least the pets will be kept safe if they are brought to us and it is way better than going to the city.
-If your pet is microchipped, call the company with your chip number to make sure they have all of your current contact information
-Call applicable breed rescue if your dog is a purebreed
-NOTE: if your pet is wearing tags or has a chip and goes to the city, you must still go to the city to look for them daily--tags and chips do NOT protect animals from a 3 day euthanasia at the city facility if they are full.
